PORTFOLIO
Over the course of my career, I've developed over 120 courses and learning activities. Here's a small sample to showcase my range.
Machine Learning and Deep Learning
Machine Learning and Deep Learning is an IBM-developed course that blends traditional e-learning with gamification and interactive elements to introduce core AI concepts. Learners explore the differences between AI, machine learning, and deep learning; understand key models like regression and decision trees; and follow how neural networks mimic the brain. The course wraps with real-world applications, the rise of generative AI, and future trends shaping the field.
Reinforcement Runner
Reinforcement Runner is a gamified learning experience designed in Articulate Storyline to teach high school and beginner-level students the core principles of reinforcement learning. Inspired by Minesweeper, players guide an AI agent through a grid-based environment, receiving rewards for safe moves and penalties for triggering virtual "mines." As the game progresses, students observe how the AI learns to make better decisions through trial and error, illustrating how real-world AI systems optimize behavior through feedback.
Shadows of Resistance
Shadows of Resistance is an interactive simulation game built in Articulate Storyline for high school history students. Set in Nazi-occupied France, students step into the shoes of resistance fighters tasked with sabotaging enemy operations, decoding secret messages, and navigating life-threatening decisions. Designed to build critical thinking and historical empathy, the game’s objective is to successfully complete missions while maintaining cover, making it a dynamic and memorable way to teach about the French Resistance in World War II.
The Pine Haven Chronicles
Pine Haven Chronicles is a multi-part interactive game built in Articulate Storyline that brings the events leading up to the American Revolution to life. Designed for middle and high school students, the experience blends storytelling, simulation, and strategic decision-making. Players step into a fictional colonial town where they interact with local characters, respond to acts like the Sugar Act and Stamp Act, and make choices that affect town unity, loyalty to the Crown, and revolutionary momentum. Voiceovers, dynamic scenarios, and immersive design turn textbook content into a living, playable story.
